Presentation Guidelines – AFPICON Kerala 2026

Oral Presentation – Research

• Total time: 10 minutes (7 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A)
• Presentation software: PowerPoint (PPT or PPTX format)
• Slides must be prepared using the template provided
• Number of slides: Preferably less than 10 (including Title slide, Content slides, and Thank You slide)
• Content format: IMRD – Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion
• Aspect ratio: Widescreen, 16:9 (Landscape)
• Slide design: Simple and visually appealing
• Use high-contrast colours (e.g., dark text on light background)
• Avoid overcrowding with text or images
• Font style: Arial, Calibri, or Times New Roman
• Minimum font size: 24 pt (body text), 32 pt (headings)
• Limit each slide to 4–6 lines
• Use bullet points; avoid full sentences

Poster Presentation

• Only e-Posters are permitted at AFPICON Kerala 2026
• Special screen facilities will be provided on site
• Poster must be prepared using the template provided
• Number of slides: Only ONE slide permitted
• Total time: 5 minutes (3 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A)
• Aspect ratio: 16:9 (Landscape)
• Avoid overcrowding and decorative or clashing backgrounds
• Use clear, readable fonts

Content Guidelines

• Research: Follow IMRD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion)
• Case Report: Brief history, physical examination, investigations, management, discussion of key take-home message, and conclusion
